Show PIONEER IS DEAR . AT SPANISH FORK Special to The Tribune. SPANISH FORK, March 11. Richard M. Jcx, pioneer florist of this city, died Sunday afternoon of inflammatory rehuma-tfsm rehuma-tfsm and dropsy, from which he had been a sufferer for several years. Mr. Jex was born at Little Plums tead, Norfolk, England. In ' ISM, and came to Utah as a boy. He was married to Louise Waiting: in 1SS1 and she and the following daughters and sons survive him : Mrs. Nellie Betts, Hardville, Alberta, Canada ; Mrs. R. C. Jex, Righy, Idaho; Mrs. Alice Shinsleton, Spanish Fork; William Wil-liam A. Jex. . Kigby, Idaho; Mrs. Ruth Hone, Pen jam in ; James M. Jex, Mrs. Susan Fresh wat or, Mrs. Lizzie Beard a 11, Mrs. Hannah Williams and George Jex, all of Spanish Fork. He also is survived by twenty-four grand children, three brothers. Thomas and John H. Jex of Spanish Pork and William S. Jex of Muriny, h nd six sisters, Mrs. George ' Whitwood, Mrs. R. . ,)r and Mrs. John Lossc of Spanish Pork. Mrs. Annie Rowland of Norfolk. Kngland, Mrs. George Marwood and Mrs. F. D. Simpson of Salt Lake City. |
