Show ARGUMENTS HEARD ON RATES APPEAL WASHINGTON", March 11. Arguments were heard in the supreme court today on appeals brought by t-he Skinner & Kddy corporation of Seattle, Wash., shipbuilders, ship-builders, from federal court decrees dismissing dis-missing injunction proceedings brought to prevent enforcement of increased railroad rail-road freight rates on steel and iron shipments ship-ments from the ea3t to the Pacific coasi. The case is an af terma th of the tra ns-continental ns-continental and the intermouniain rate cases and involves the validity of the in-t in-t erstate commerce commission order of 1 ! 1 6 by which freight rates were increased, in-creased, due to lessened water compet i-tion. i-tion.
