Lancashire. England. August 24, 1834, nnd was the daughter of Abraham and Alice B. Kershaw. Ker-shaw. In 1S44. together with her parents nnd n family of eleven brothers nnd sisters, she came to the United States, first residing In Baltimore. Balti-more. In 1850 she i-nmo to Utnh, going to Mont). Where she resided for a year. In 18fil she moved to Cedar, where she was married. While living there, she assisted the men in . building the old Cedar fort. In 1856. the year Beaver wns settled , she nnd her husband moved from Cedar nnd were among the first dozen settlers of this town. She had resided hero since that time. Surviving her are thre dnugfit"rs. Mrs. J. R. Lindsay of Reaver. Mrs. Ida tV.
