Carter, who arrived here on a train from Bingham today, died a few hours later. 1 le had been working in a mine at Bingham and was sent home when hfs condition became critical. There were only three deaths in Eureka from Influenza today to-day and oniy a few new cases were reported, re-ported, but several patients arc said lo be in a critical condition. Mrs. Julius Brandt, wife of a miner, died under peculiarly distressing circumstances. circum-stances. Mrs. Brandt recently went lo the home of a neighbor, where Influenza had attacked several members of the family, and proffered her services as nurse.
