Show COLORADO TEAMS TO START OK SATURDAY Squads Are Working Overtime Over-time to Get i Into Condition. DENVER, Nov. 7. With the announcement an-nouncement that the influenza ban will be lifted Friday, coaches of the University Univer-sity of Denver and the School of Mines are working their huskies overtime to get them into proper shape for the first intercollegiate football contest of the season sea-son at Union park Saturday afternoon. Coach Barron of the Miners has even started a morning practice. The squad has been ordered to report at 7 o'clock and will get an hour's peppery drill and signal practice each morning. Two more regulars on the Denver lineup line-up joined the hospital list yesterday. They are Dewey Flint and Seward Iliff. ! Both arc suffering from sprained ankles and It lft doubtful if they will be ready for the contest Saturday. Coach Fike, who has b'een suffering from influenza, will be out on the field Thursday, but Wilson and Anderson will not be out for several days. |
