Show OGDEN BOY IS WOUNDED THIRD TIME OVERSEAS v IRWIN E. FOWLER. Special to The Tribune. OODEX, Oct. 23. Irwin IS. Fowler, son Of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Fowler, 3112 Adams avenue, has been wounded in action, ac-tion, according- to a cablegram received in Ogden this afternoon by the parents from the young soldier, who is now in a base hospital in Paris. This is the third time Young Fowler has been wounded since he arrived in j Franco In Juno with the replacement divi- j fllon of tho troops from the lirth artillery ; at Camp Kearny. The first time the boy was wounded was at Chateau Thierry in early part of j August. He advised his family of the wounds after he had been discharged from the hospital. The second time' he was wounded he made slight mention of it in a letter in September. Mr. Fowler enlisted in the army when ho was 16 years of age. He is now IT. |
