Although there was a slignrin crease in the number of new cases of Spanish influenza in Ogden today there was a decrease in the number of deaths. This report was issued tonight by Sanitary Sani-tary Inspector George Shorten. The inspector says the fact that there was only one death was most encouraging encourag-ing to the board. He said it was apparent appar-ent that the doctors of the city, who have worked unceasingly for the past four weeks, are getting the better of the epidemic. epi-demic. The death today was that, of Mrs. R. F. Taylor, corner of Grant avenue and Twenty-eighth street, who died early this morning. The body was removed to the Kirkendall chapel, where it will be held pending the funeral arrangements. |
