Show RUMAN INFANTRY TO FIGHT GERMANS IN SIBERIAN SECTOR WASHINGTON, Oct. 29. A brigade of Rumanian infantry has been organized in Siberia to fight with entente troops, according to a cablegram received today by Professor T. G. Masaryk, president of the Czecho-Slovak national council. The unit is composed of Rumanians of Austria-Hungary who were taken prisoner by the Russians in the early days of the war and sent to Siberia. Rumanians of Austria-Hungary also are fighting under the allied command In France and Italy. |
