Show REPORT BIG STRIKE AT SILVER BELL Showing of Ore Carrying High Values Said to Be Encountered in One of Shafts. Discovery of a hih-RTado ore 7hoot at the Silver Bell, si tuated in the Dug-1 way district, was reported yesterday by C E. Ilarnmn, secretary of the company. The property has been developed by shafts and an Incline and the showing of ore carrying high values was encountered en-countered In one of the shafts. The two shafts have bee,n sunk to a depth of ninety feet and the In-line is in to a depth of 1P0 feet, and a drift Is now being run from the bottom of the incline to cut the vein revealed in one of the tunnels. The vein Is from five to seven feet wide. Mr. Mar man reports, and an average sample across the vein cave values val-ues of nearly 7 per cent copner. Tlio high-grade shoot is only about a foot thick and picked sampler from It pave assay values of 21T ounces of silver and $23.60 In gold, in addition to the copper. The extremely high-srrade ore, however. Is reported to occur only in small pockets and, although nor in sufficient u uantity i to presage immediate shipments, is taken to indicate that a big body of shipping ore is being approached. 4 i Work has been suspended tempera rily.
