Show j SERVICE MANAGER VISITS BROWNING jw. L. Hershey of the Willys-Knight Organization Checking Up West-I West-I ern Territory. I i Owners of Willys-Knight and Overland cars are particularly fortunate among automobile au-tomobile owners in the fact that the Willys-Knight organization maintains an office called the service department, the duty of which is to see that every owner of a Willys-Knight or Overland car receives re-ceives satisfaction, no matter what his or her complaint may be. W. L. Hershey, who is the service manager man-ager for the western division, having jurisdiction over all Willys-Overland territory ter-ritory west of Denver and whose headquarters head-quarters are in San Francisco, visited the Browning Auto & Supply company, loal Willys-Overland distributors, last week j on his semi-annual tour of the territory for the purpose of checking up on the service" departments of Willys-Overland dealers and seeing that every tiling is running smoothly. With respect to his duties. Mr. Hershey. when seen at tne Browning salesrooms last week, said: "Although I am on the payroll of the Willys -Overla nd company. I am. more 1 properly, working for the owners tf J Willys-Knight a nd Overland cars, and woe betide the dealer who I find is not rendering satisfactory service to any one of his customers. I am on the job to see I that the customer gets a square oVal. and ; whenever I find a dealer or a service ! manager who is at all refractor, the customer may depend on me to look out 1 for his interests, even if I have to go to ! the vice president of the Willys-Overland factory to do it." Mr. Hershey has j':?t returned from an extensive trip through t he eastern states and has had some very interesting, if not painful, experiences in the recent tie-up and delays of passenger trains en eastern railroads. ; He states that conditions have not been exaggerated one io'a and that the rec.nt Monday closing rule hardly made an impression im-pression on thp unprecedented congestion of sr.'.jppinsr facilities. |
