The 15-minute service now srtven on the Center street line appears to be an economic loss, as the traffic on this line is exceedingly liirht; and the Center street cars will be operated oper-ated from North Salt Lake to the "Denver & R!o Grande depot via Main street and West Third South, riving j 20-minute service from 6:30 a. rru to 3:3' p. m., and 30-rainute service trom 6:S" p, m. to 12:30 a, m. There will be no change in the route number of this car. and its operations will be carefully watchei, with a view of ascertaining definitely if such operations will be consistent on this line. At the present time the midnight 1: tie-up cars depart from Second South and Main streets at 1:05 a. m. This service appears to be at this particular time unnecessary. and these cars will now be operated from Sevond South and Main streets at Tne changes fn the existing schedules sched-ules will be carefully watched by the corpT.ission and a check of the operations op-erations will be kept to the end that if any of these changes do not give the necessary service, sajxie may be promptly adjusted. |
