C. known a.s the Thirtieth battalion engineers, zas anrl flame an u,.r. openings for qualified men throughout the country to hecome members of thia organization, or-ganization, according to information received re-ceived from Washington. The battalion Is beng trained In Washington Wash-ington now by expert English officers who have bad actual experience in the handling of gas and flame on the battle front, and Major K. J. Atkisson, corps of engineers, is anxious to get men for tho battallan who are experts In gas, cJiem-ists, cJiem-ists, gas engineers, plumbers, electrial ex-perls, ex-perls, pipo fitters. Interpreters, mechanics, mechan-ics, chauffeurs, explosive experts, cooks, blacksmiths. carpenters. clerks, They must be muscular, quick-thinking, resolute reso-lute men leteen the. ages of IS and 40 years.
