Show UTAH GOPPEB BOYS DOBiTFDRSAMMIES Swell Tobacco Fund by Donating the Sum of $32.75. Take a look at the list of contributors for yesterday and you will find at the j bottom of it donations aggregating S32.75 , from the men of the" Utah Copper company. com-pany. It is certainly a commendable as well as efficient way of contributing to the ; tobacco fund, this of getting together in j groups and sending it in altogether. This group spirit is in the highest sense praiseworthy and productive of much benefit for those who are fighting across the sea. That contribution from the boys of the Utah Copper company means tnat 4 times 32.75 or more than 130 Sammies will have enough to smoke for a week. One hundred and thirty men comprise about one-fourth of a battalion at the front. That is quite some little thing for the bos at the Utah Copper to accomplish. K3-ch and every man in the group of contributors will receive a post card in the not far distant future, expressing the gratification of the American soldier sol-dier who received the tobacco kit which was sent with the money donated. That post card will be something to be proud of. It will be a little connecting link between be-tween the men working in the mines and those battling in the trenches far over tho sea. Both are working for the same cause, the cause of democracy. Why shouldn't they be in some .way brought together in sympathy. That is one of the purposes of the tobacco fund. It is the little go-between that fastens the bond of sympathy and good will between be-tween those at home and -abroad. Thanks to tho men of the Utah Copper company. And power to them. They have done something of which they may well feel proud. They will get their reward. They have set an example which is bound to result in good for the tobacco fund and in incalculable benefit to the boys in the war zones. Uet's follow the suit of the Utah Copper Cop-per boys!
