Show MYSTERY OF AUTO LICENSE CLEARED Police List Shown to Be in Error; Victim Vic-tim of Accident Still in Serious Condition. The mysterv of the auto license numbers num-bers carried by Mrs. W. B. Kelling'a automobile, au-tomobile, which struck and seriously injured in-jured Mrs. J. W. Lee on Saturday night, Was cleared with the opening of the capt-tol capt-tol yesterday. Through a tTpographtcal error, the supplementary sup-plementary list furnished police headquarters head-quarters was found to be Inaccurate. Mrs. KelHng was driving car No. 1638.", as reported in Sunday's Tribune. The police list showed that that car was registered reg-istered under the name of Mrs. Caroline K. Anderson of Park City. Mrs. Anderson's Ander-son's car is 16984 and the police list showed that as belonging to Loy Wood. Mrs. Kclling's name does not appear at any place on the list. Mrs. "Lee. the victim of the accident, was reported last night as suffering considerably con-siderably more pain today and to have developed possihle internal Injuries. I Deputy Sheriff L.. D. Martin, who fired : a revolver at the KelHng car and halted lit, said yesterday that lie had received ! nearly a hundred telephone calls congratulating con-gratulating him on his prompt action in the affair. |
