Show PROTEST ADVANCE IN LIGHTING RATES Protest against a proposed advance in light service rates by the Utah Power & Light company was received yesterday by tlie state public utilities commission from business men of American Fork, the paper being signed by Alma Greenwood Green-wood and John Hunter as representative representa-tive committeemen. It is proposed by the company to raise the minimum monthly light rate from $1 to Jl.ll. The complaining and protesting committeemen committee-men say that they intend to attack the present rate of 10 cents per kilowatt hour as being neither just nor reasonable and the present minimum of .$1 as discriminatory. discrimi-natory.
