Show SHOULD BE NAMED. A few of the millers of the United States are not content with the reasonable rea-sonable profits allowed them under food control. Fortunately the government gov-ernment officials are constantly on the watch for just such manifestations manifes-tations of the swinish spirit and the necessary warning has been issued by the food administration" in order that other millers may not be tempted to follow in the footsteps of the men who Crould indeed "coin dollars out of lood." Something more than a warning warn-ing is needed. They should be promptly arrested and their ill-gotten gains taken away from them. In addition they should "be fined and imprisoned. Tt is very humiliating to the loyal American citizens to discover that while hundred's of thousands of men are goin forth to fight for the country and rich and poor alike are cheerfully contributing to the Liberty loan, the Red Cross and all sorts of funds for war purposes, there are some men so lost to all sense of honor that, they seek to rob the American people in a time of stress. We hope the government officials will change their tactics to some extent in such cases and let the names of the rascals become known in order that they may feel the full weight of public contempt. |
