Show m 10 WELCOME 1IIPHL LEAGUE State Organization Will Open Two Days' Session in Junction City. Special to The Tribune. pCDFN, Oct. S. Delegates representing represent-ing most of tiie cities and towns in the stute are expected to be present when the eleventh annual convention of the Municipal league of Utah is opened in this Citv tomorrow morning: for a two-d;iy two-d;iy session. Mayor A. R. Hey wood, president, will deliver the address of welcome wel-come to the delegates in the city building: at in o'clock. Mayor W. Mont Ferry of Salt Lake will respond and also speak on a subject pertaining to public safety work. Colonel C. A. Boyd will also speak at the opening' session. Following an automobile trip through Offden canyon, to the municipal artesian wells the delegates will lunch at the Hermitage hotel. The afternoon session of the convention will be hfdd at the Her-mitage,, Her-mitage,, the principal address being that of t'yrus I'eiive of San Francisco on the Liberty loan campaign. The other ! speakers for the afternoon are J. W. McHenry, mayor of Murray; L-eRoy Dixon, Dix-on, councilman of Provo, and Frank L. i Hines of Salt Lake, who will give a demonstration dem-onstration of pitometer tests. The visit-! visit-! ing delegates will be guests at a recep-' recep-' tion in the Weber club Tuesday evening. The convention session Wednesday morning will be held at the city building. I A n open air meeting at Butler way at I 2 o'clock will follow luncheon at the We-I We-I ber club. There will be another automobile automo-bile trip later in the afternoon and an 'entertainment for the visitors at the Al-I Al-I hambra theater Wednesday evening. |
