Show EMPIRE MINES CO. FILES IIS PAPERS: Announced Merger of Several Sev-eral Knight Properties Is Now Matter of Record. Special to The Tribune. PROVO, March 29. Articles of incorporation in-corporation of the Empire Mines company com-pany have been filed with the county clerk. Provo is the company's principal princi-pal place of business. The directors and ofiieers are: Jesse Knight, president; presi-dent; J. William Knight. vv;e president; W. Lester Mangum, secretary and treasurer; treas-urer; Mrs. Amanda M. Knight, K. E. Allen, K. S. Jordan, .1. S. Smith. The capital stock is 3.0011,(100 shares in 5-cent par value shares, based on tho valuation of eight. Tintic properties Opex, Lower Mammoth, Tennessee Rebel, Central Mammoth, Boston and Tintic, Garnet, Old Colony and Eureka, and the Black Jack and seventeen mining min-ing claims which have been merged by vote of the stockholders and sale of the in dividually -owned claims. The new corporation, as will be seen, owns about tiOO acres of valuable property prop-erty in the Tintic district, much of which has been extensively developed and has produced ore. An aggressive campaign f)f development develop-ment will be undertaken al soon as a thorough expert investigation and examination ex-amination can be made to determine on the work to be done. Tt is probable work will first be undertaken in the Lower Mammoth, on which much work has already heen done by tho Lower Mammoth company. |
