FRENCH CAPTURE MUNITIONS AND SUPPLY DEPOT PARIS, March 29, 10:50 p. m. The official communication issued tonight reads: From the Somme to the Oise the day was relatively calm. In tho Marpival sector there was active artillery fighting. The artillery actions ac-tions were quite violent in the direction di-rection of Maissons de Champagne and hill 304 and in Lorraine in the neighborhood of Embermesnil. esterday a German airplane was brought down. Belgian communication : After great artillery activitv during the night in the region ot Steeustraete the day was marked only by a lew reciprocal bombardments. An important munitions and supply depot has been captured v the French, the war ofiice announced today. Artillery Artil-lery fighting continued during the night between the Somme and the Aisne. and the French kept in cont t everywhere with the German lin-5. roissons was bombarded by heavy German guns. On the left bank of the Meuse (Verdun front) our troops recaptured the last elements of the trenches which the enemy had been holding since March 18.
