Show BOARD OF IMITY OUILffiPOLICIES Dr. Georg-e E. Hyde Is Reappointed Re-appointed Superintendent of Institution. At a meeting of the state board of Insanity In-sanity held yesterday in the office of ; Jeosph Ririe, state auditor, appointments were made and the policy for the Immediate Im-mediate future outlined. Dr. George E. Hyde was reappointed superintendent, Julius Anderson was appointed ap-pointed secretary and treasurer, J. R. Holt of Salt Lake City was appointed steward, Zenos Whit taker, engineer, and Oscar W. Mann, electrician. Present at the board meeting were Governor Simon Bamberger, president of the board; Joseph Ririe, vice president, and D. O. Larson, state treasurer, a member mem-ber of the board. It was stated that other changes in the personnel of the institution may be made in the future. If, in the judgment of the board and of the superintendent, such changes would be justified for the good of the hospital. It was decided to make a thorough investigation in-vestigation of the lighting and heating system. The water from several sources will be analyzed, in order that the health of the inmates may be protected In every possible manner. i It is proposed to drain some of the meadow land the coming summer. In the plans for improving the farm land, some of tho pure-bred horses and some purebred pure-bred bull calves will be disposed of. Another An-other silo is to be added. The cost per capita per day for caring for the 5-iG patients has been 41.6 cents. The policy of the board, as announced, is to do everything possible and consistent for the comfort of the inmates. |
