Show LOCAL POSTOFFICE EMPLOYEES DANCE Big Auditorium Is Filled With, a Merry Throng at Sixth Annual An-nual Hop. The "Money Order One-Step" was one of the big features of the twenty-odd dance numbers that thrilled a merry crowd at the Auditorium last evening. The event was the sixth annual hop of the local lo-cal employees and was a success in every way. Several hundred of Uncle Sam's hoys and their friends executed the light fantastic fan-tastic way Into the giddy hours of the morning. By the time the "Waltz Perishable," Per-ishable," which marked the twentieth number on the programme, was reached most of the guests were prepared to depart, de-part, but the four extra dances announced were too good to miss and they remained. The hall was beautifully decorated in red, white and blue streamers. Exhilarating Exhilarat-ing punch was served in generous quantities quanti-ties and up-to-the-minute selections were rendered by an excellent orchestra. The committee in charge composed David Crockett, Ralph Sperry. Richard Gerrans, Orson Allan. Henry Lawrence, Edward Nesbltt and Walter Francis. |
