Show LABOR LEADERS TO SEEK NOMINATION Four Prominent Men in Local Circles Will Go Before Democratic Con-. Con-. vention for Eecognition. Four prominent local labor leaders were indorsed last night at a meeting of a number of men prominently identified with organized labor for places on the Democratic legislative ticket Those whose candidacies were indorsed are Joseph Jo-seph G. Bywater. Charles M. Hecker, R. E. Currie and Alfred Smithen. Joseph G. Bywater is an engineer on the Rio Grande and for many years has been an active member and officer of the Brotherhood of Locomtive Engineers. Charles M. Hecker is president of the Salt Lake Typographical union and a delegate to the Salt Lake Federation of Labor. R. E. Currie is state organizer for the American Federation of Labor and an active member of the Salt Lake Federation Fed-eration of Labor and the Building Trades council. Alfred Smithen is a member of the Rio Grande Shop Employees' federation, federa-tion, of the Salt Lake Federation of Labor La-bor and of the Labor Temple association.
