The contact vein strikes northwesterly and southeasterly and it dips to the northeast. It was cut at a vertical depth of 3f8 feet from the surface and at a depth of 520 feet on Its dip. The ore shoot that has been opened In the shaft rakes to the east and the drift from the tunnel is being drien along the contact toward the northwest. The drift Is now out a distance of about twenty feet and, according to the estimates, the ore shoot should be cut in another sixty feet of driving. The holdings of the company consist of sixteen claims, the property adjoining the Maxfield mine and lying east of it. There are approximately 300.000 shares In the treasury, the company being capitalized for 1,000,000 shares, par value 10 cents. |
