Commissioner Emerson announced that the total of deaths sMU was under 25 per cent of the total number nf cases reported. The number of cases continues to decrease, hut the death rate has increased d urine the la?t three, weeks, and it is feared it may go above 2o per cent. Dr. Charles E. Banks, senior snrpenn of the fed era 1 public health per vice, announced he was not. prepared to state, n-hen it. would be sate to lift the federal inspection here of interstate travel. |
