Show SIGNS CONTRACT FOR SHIPMENT OF ORE So satisfactory have the developments been of iHte in' the property of the Ely Cottonwood Coalition of Bifr Cottonwood that the company has just closed a contract con-tract with a local firm for a tractor to haul not less than ten and up to fifty tons per day, the hauling to begin within thirty days. The main tunnel of the company Is now In 1100 feet, has passed two fissures, but has about 600 feet more to be pushed before be-fore catchintr the same ore body from which the shipments are being made above. Within 150 feet of the surface, in the No. 1 shaft, the company is taking out a large quantity of ore that carries (i2o in silver, copper and gold, while in the upper tunnel is under development an ore bodv that averages not less than $70 in the same metals- W. G. Romney is president of the company, James A. A. Stanley, secretary and treasurer, and Thomas W. Bell is superintendent of the mine. |
