Show MAIN LINE BLOCKED ON UNION PACIFIC Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, Dec. 27. For the first time In many years, the Union Pacific main line was completely blocked by snow between be-tween Laramie and Rawlins, Wyo., today. to-day. The blockade prevailed for most of the day. not a train being moved in either direction. Nearly twenty trains were tied up as a result of the blockade, but reports were received at the local offices of-fices this evening that the trains were again coming through. The first train will reach Ogden early tomorrow morning. morn-ing. ( Throughout the day east bound trains left on schedule time, the connections from the west, north and south having been generally satisfactory. The Pacific limited. No. 19, westbound, left Ogden today to-day over the Southern Pacific as a stub train. Train No. 5, westbound, over the Southern Pacific, left this evening after waiting only for Denver & Rio Grande connections. The Southern Pacific company's -wires on the old line north of the lake were down yesterday, but repairs were made and service was restored today. |
