The annual convention of agency managers man-agers and special representatives of the Utah agency of the Beneficial Life Insurance In-surance company was held yesterday at the company's offices in the Vermont building, John D. Oiie?, director of agencies, agen-cies, presiding. The feature of the morning morn-ing session was the presentation by Manager Man-ager Lorenzo X. Stohl of figures showing show-ing the enormous growth of company business in Utah for the past year, indicating indi-cating that by the end of the month the total production will have exceeded $3.-OnO.OOO. $3.-OnO.OOO. which, lie claims, will he a record rec-ord for any life Insurance company in Utah, either local or foreign. Congratulations Congratu-lations were extended by the management manage-ment of the company on the excellent showing made by its representatives, and assurances of the company's support for Increased business in 1917 were given. At the afternoon session the represent-a represent-a fives discussed agency plans, including the character of agents most desired as associates, the teaching of salesmanship by a system of schools throughout the state and the history and prospects of life Insurance. Ohlson. secretary; Junius Romney, 1 superintendent of agents; S. H. Jones, assistant superintendent of agents: E. T. Ralph, superintendent of lapse department; depart-ment; Leo E.
