Show BIG BANQUET FOR GOVERNORS PLANNED Arrangements are being made tjv the Utah society of the Pons of the American Revolution to make the banquet they will tender delegates to the national governors' gov-ernors' conference the night of June 27 the most brilliant social affair of the kind ever held in the city. Attorney General A. R. Barnes, president presi-dent of the society, has appointed the committee to make these arrangements and it will hold a meeting Friday afternoon after-noon at 4 o'clock at his office' in the capitol. C. P. Overfield is chairman of this committee com-mittee and the other members are J. W. Bishop. George Jay Gibson, Joseph Kimball. R. O. GemmelJ, G. L. Hutching, D. S. Spencer, Benjamin L. Rich and Prank B. Stephens. John K. Hardv. secretary sec-retary to Governor William Sprv, will act with the committee. An invitation has been sent to Elmer Martin Wenlworth of Dee Moines, recent-: recent-: ly elected president-genera! of tile Sons of j the American Revolution, asking him to fre present at the banquet. |
