Everything is hurrv and bustle at the lake a nd an isans a re busilv pneaspd i n completing the great haltair roiter p.ilaee. with its thousands of square feet of maple ma-ple flooring, where it is expected thousands thou-sands of roller skaters will be entertained this season. The fact that the roller palace at Saltair is to be thrown open free for next Saturday Satur-day afternoon and evening is expected by t J io management of the resort "to bring many additional hundreds or visitors to the lake Saturday afternoon, the opening day. Prepara tions have been completed for the big dan re that will inaugurate the dancing season at the lake Saturday nieht. The regular train service to Saltair will begin at 2 o'clock next So turday afternoon, after-noon, and trains will run to and from the lake every forty-five minutes after that hour. There will be no train to the lake at 12:15 dally this year, as in seasons past. The train will go but every morning morn-ing at 9 however. The work of getting the big indoor salt water pool In shape for Saturdays opening open-ing has been completed and tne pool will be filled with water Wednesday or Thursday Thurs-day and heated to a comfortable degree. The indoor salt water pool at Saltair has proven on- of the most popular institutions institu-tions at the resort for those bathers who like to get into the lake water at the earliest possible moment after the resort opens. |
