Show ACCIDENT TAKES WORKMAN'S LIFE Arvil Christensen, 29, was instantly in-stantly killed Wednesday at midnight mid-night on C level, behind the City hall, of the Utah Copper company com-pany open pit mine when a hoisting hoist-ing chain on a shovel dipper broke and struck him on the head. Mr. Christensen was a pitman and had worked for the company four years. He married Lola Norton on October 15, 1938, at her home in Panguitch. The couple have a year old son, Ronald, and made "their home at the Federal apartments. apart-ments. Besides his widow and child, Mr. Christensen is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Clar-ence Christensen of 134 West Temple street, Salt Lake City; a sister, Mrs. James Cox of Bingham, Bing-ham, and a brother, Reed Christensen Chris-tensen of Salt Lake City. |
