Show EAST HIGH ATHLETES BEAT GOLD AND BLUE Leopards. Win Track and Field Meet in Nifty Fashion. The East Hiph school defeated the L. D. S. C. in a dual track and field meet yesterday afternoon on Cummlnss field. The L. I. S. L:. boys had tiie shade In the track events, but the Leopards forced ahead tn the field stunts, winning with r2 points to y$ for the church school athletos. Ken Barnes, the Ea.st High track captain, cap-tain, won the 100 and 220 after hard races. The quarter-mile went to Dave Wafts, L. D. S. U. captain, with Elmer Dean taking second. Wirick ran away from his competitors com-petitors In the mile, winning in 5:00. Price, of the L. D. ri.
