OCR Text	Show Riot at Chicago. CHICAGO, Mav 1. The first serious trouble since the strike of 5000 employees em-ployees of the International Harvester company last, week occurred this evening, even-ing, when police were called to protect workers from strikers. Five hundred strikers were loitering near the plant when it closed for the day. Charles Seidler was set upon and severely beaten. He was rescued by policemen.,. Pearl Arid, aged 18 vears, was attacked in a street car and struck in the face. Police ejected the disturbers dis-turbers from the car.
