Among other benefits which the business busi-ness men have been able to obtain for the town was the baching of the main line train into the McGill depot, instead of the transferring of passengers, express ex-press and baggage from Mc Gill junction by the shift train. The express company com-pany has been induced to establish a free delivery through the town and much has been accomplished in the way of road improvement. It is now hoped to get messenger service put in at the Hegraph office, which will insure delivery of telegrams without delay, and many other matters for the general welfare of the community communi-ty will be taken up at once. |
