IMMEDIATE VOTE IS WANTED ON QUESTION In a communication from the Cham-ber Cham-ber of Commerce at Washington, D. C, t f received by the local chamber yester- 2 i day, request is made that the local or- W ganization ballot on referendum No. 16, on report of the special committee in regard to the railroad situation. The letter recites that complete paralysis of freight traffic, in all parts of "tho country may result if train service employees, em-ployees, who have united in making demands de-mands upon the railroads, and the managers man-agers of the railroads, who have united in presenting counter demands in dealing deal-ing with the men, fail to como to an agreement. Ballot will probably be cast at the regular meeting May 9.
