Sixty members of tbe association were present to do honor to their venerable colleague. Tribute was paid to Dr. lowing in the programme, of after-dinner talks. Dr. A. Ray rvine spoke- on "Dr. Kwiner and the Medical Society." and Dr. J. F. Critch-low Critch-low made. the prison tut ion address, wherein the society conferred a loving cup upon Dr. Ewlns. Oilier speakers were: Dr. .T X. Harrison, Harri-son, who i;ilked of "Old .Friendships;" Guvcrnor William Hpry; Dr. H. N. Mavo. who spoke on "Doctors' Fads;" Harold Stephens, who talked on "The Medical Profession as Viewed by the Young: Uv-yer;' Uv-yer;' Dr. W. R.
