R. Marttneau, Jr vesterday afternoon to answer to a charge of polygamy preferred by Delia Musselman Redman, the wife with whom he has been living for more than eighteen months past. Redman was arrested vesterdav morn lng by Deputy Sheriff Frank W olf and taken to the count jail I port be ng ar raigned before Justice Martineau he en tered a plea of not guilt the case was set for hearing December 13 and bonds were fixed In the sum of (300 which Red man furnished and was then set at lib erty As shown by the statement In court of J E Darxner attomev for Redman the case is a peculiar one in several respec s Some five or six years ago the then Mrs Redman, whose maiden name was Tamer Taylor left her husband and went to parts unknown not being heard from for several years and being last heard of In Seattle Fedman married Delia Musselman Clay a widow in April 1914 and for a time all went well. Yesterday Mrs Delia Musselman Clay Redman swore to a complaint charging her husband with polygamy alleging that when he married her be was the husband of Tamer Taylor Redman The arrest and the arraignment followed |
