Show MISSOURI AND TEXAS WANT CONVENTION Delegates From St. Louis and Dallas Go to Washington to Present Pre-sent Claims. ST. LOUIS, Dec. 3. A committer of twelve loft here at noon today for Washington to urge the claims of St. Louis for the Democratic national convention. con-vention. A vanguard left here two days ago. Among those who left today were Senators Stone and Reed, "ongressman Igoe, David R. Francis, Bolla Wells, treasurer of the Democratic national committee, Festus J. Wade and Walker Hill, bankers. DALLAS, Tex., Dec. 3. Bearing a certified check for $100,000, seventy-five seventy-five Teias Democrats left here this morniug on a special train for Washington, Wash-ington, where they will placo Dallas's claims before the national executive committee Tuesday to entertain the national na-tional Democratic comvneion in 1ft JO. Stops will be made en route at Tox-arkana, Tox-arkana, New Orleans, Atlanta, Knox-ville Knox-ville and Richmond, where national committeemen from Oklahoma, Louisville, Louis-ville, Tennessee, Georgia and Virginia will join the Texas delegation. |
