Show HEARING IN ALLEGED SWINDLE CONTINUED Sorensen Brothers Reiterate Story of Supposed Effort by J. B. Bouor to Grot Their Money. Testimony in the preliminary hearing of J. B. Bouer, an alleged confidence man, who is charged with entering into a conspiracy to defraud Hans and Christian Chris-tian Sorensen of $10,000, was taken yes-terdav yes-terdav afternoon before Justice of the Peace I.. R. Martineau, Jr. The testimony testi-mony of the two Sorensen brothers was heard and tto case continued until 10 o'clock this morning at the request of Assistant County Attorney Herbert Van Dam, Jr., who wishes to present some documentary evidence. Bouer and his attorney, Sorcn X. Christenseu, appeared yesterday morning morn-ing before Judge N. II. Tanner in the criminal division of the city court. Mr. Christenseu filed an affidavit for a change of venue and the case was transferred to the court of Justice of the Peace L. H. Martineau, Jr., who shortly before noon heard the demurrer |
