LAND WANTED FOR EUROPEAN FARMERS A man in Los Angeles wants to bring farmers from Kurope lo settle on Utah's untitled lands, and has written to H. T. Haines, mate commissioner of immigration, immigra-tion, labor nnd (statistics, on the subject. The commissioner Is taking the inquiry up with the state land bourd and will also pet in touch with private companies compa-nies which have lands for sale. Some time ago Mr. Haines had a request re-quest frorn F. W. Boake of Los Angeles, secretary of the Internal lonal Pnrmers" Colonization company. Yesterday Commissioner Com-missioner Haines received a second letter let-ter from him, In which he set forth at length his plans for bringing new settlers to T : tali, provided suitable lands can be secured.
