Show WILL REPEAT EASTER MUSICAL PROGRAMME Special Observance of "Go-to-Ohurch Sunday" at St. Mary's Cathedral Announced. In special observance of "Go-io-church Sunday" next Sunday tho Easter programme of music will be repented re-pented at St. Mary's cathedral at the request of Bishop Lawrence Scanlan. Bishop Scanlan has expressed his ap- firoval of tho movement and desires to tavo the services on that dav as attractive at-tractive aB possible, both for (he Tegular Tegu-lar nttondants and the visitors. The choir, under the direction of Miss Nora Glcaflon, will render "Mozart's "Mo-zart's twelfth mass, considered the most brilliant of tho church composi-tionF. composi-tionF. with orchestra and orgnn accompaniment. ac-companiment. This progranuno will bo given nt the high ninss at 11 o'clock, while there will bo special music at the earlier masses and tho evening vesper service also. Mrs. Edward McGurrin, harpist, and Miss Genevieve Malonc, violinist, will assist the choir, Tho soloists will be Mrs. Thomas Atkins, Mrs. R. M. Austin, Aus-tin, Miss Cassandra Wood, Joseph Saucr, "Victor Knapp. Oswald Veltz. Miss Rose Jngman, Miss Alice Farroll and Leslie Savillo. Miss Tngman will render tho Gounod "Bcucdictus" and the La Hachc "Dona Nobis"; Miss Parrel! will sing the Giorza "Vcni Creator." Thcro will also be special sermons at all tho masses and tho evening vesper services. |
