Christ onsen, who visited Ogden today. J. II. Martin, convicted of assault with a deadly weapon upon Detective De-tective David Edwards, will bo sentenced In Judge J. A. Howell's court at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning. Two postponements post-ponements have already been made In tho matter; but Martin's attorney declares de-clares that ho will be In Ogdon tomorrow tomor-row morning and will make a formal motion for a new trial. Pending tho court's decision on the motion It Is probable that Mttrtln will ask to be taken to -Salt Ijikv Immediately Immediate-ly to b'gln ills term in the state prison, according to Attorney Christensen. If tho now trial is denied, Martin's attorney attor-ney explained today, ho will take the matter to the supreme court.
