There is as yet no pronounced Interest In tho coming city election at which a mayor, one commissioner commis-sioner and a city auditor, will be elected Mayor C. F. Decker and Commissioner T.oRoy Dixon, whose terms cxpl.re. will undoubtedly bn candidates for re-clec tlon. and that they will have competitors Is not doubted. The Improvement league which had charge of the liquor election campaign last summer, will. without I doubt, present names at tho primary elec tion for the offices of mayor and commissioner, com-missioner, although none of the leading members will give any positive stnlcment to this effect. The candidates they will present, or support, will be men favorable to having saloons, as against thc Incumbents, Incum-bents, or any others who favor prohibition. prohibi-tion. The only nomination putitlon, so far ns known, now before the vote's Is that of Ralpli Elliott, city auditor, who is a candidate I'or re-election.
