If unostentatiously, exhibited In Prove in addition v to the many benefactions of church and other charitable organizations organi-zations and of private Individuals, tho Elks have distributed coal, provisions and clothing to many people during the past week, and this morning several hundred dollars worth of clothing was given, mainly to boys, by a temporary organization of Good Fellows, who established estab-lished headquarters at Scvtwab's Clothing Cloth-ing sloro. Tho patients at the State "Mental hospital hos-pital enjoyed a fine Christmas dinner and special menus wero prepared for breakfast and supper, in addition to which each patient received a present of fruit, candy and nuts.
