James Dwyer of this city has presented, to the Dcseret museum a lithographed panoramic view of Salt Lake City as It wa? in the year ISfiO. This picture shows the town to have extended to about Third South street on the south, to tho vicinity or Fourth Ea?t street on the east, and to aboui Sixth West street on the west sid. Cattle and horses are seen quietly grazing In North Tomplo and West Temple streets, and the pedestrians shown Include women with hoop skirts. James Dwyer, the donor, was one of the earliest bookseller, newsdealers nnd stationers in Utah, and the drawing from which the lithograph was mad wa? h him ent to H. J.
