Show UTAH HAS i IDEAL SITE ATJXPBSITIl Overlooks the Bay Front and Otherwise Is a Favored f . Spot. . i As stated by Governor Spry in The Tribune yesterday. Utah's site for her state building at the Panama-Pacific International In-ternational exposition at San Francisco is an ideal one. The accompanying" outline shows the location of the site in black. On one side It faces one of the" grand circles In the general exposition scheme and on another it overlooks the bay front. Between Be-tween the I'tah site nnd fne water front aro thu Idaho and Montana sites. The triangular plot Is the site of tho Washington Wash-ington stale building. The main exposition buildings will be erected to the cast of the Utah site. In transferring the site to tho state of Utah the exposition authorities executed exe-cuted a formal deed, which read as follows: fol-lows: Panama-Pacific .International exposition, ex-position, 1915; authorized by act of congress of the United States of America, February 15, 1911. Proclaimed Pro-claimed by the president of the United States. February 2. 1912. Tn conformity with the understanding understand-ing reached between the State of Utah and the Panama-Pacific exposition, expo-sition, and in ratification of that understanding, un-derstanding, this Is to declare and certify that there Is assigned for the use of the state of Utah for tho purpose of a state building, a certain area of open space upon the exposition exposi-tion grounds, as Indicated in the above outline of the eite of tho exposition. ex-position. The above-described area of ground will be reserved for the use of the state of ITlah until July 1. 1013. on which date. If active work has not commenced In accordance with plans and specifications approved by the undersigned, the described ground will revert to the exposition.
