The Rio .Crando Baptist. . church, 101-1 West Second South street, this city, which had, until recently, been conducted is a branch organization ..of the lin-mniuiel lin-mniuiel Buptist church, was recognized Monday by representatives 'of tho Baptist Bap-tist church of Utah as a separate and regularly organized church. The church had been conducted principally as. a mission mis-sion and funds for carrying on missionary mis-sionary work In the local field were supplied sup-plied by tho Home Mission society of the church. Reports from tho differc.nL departments of the Rio Grande church, presented In the church council, showed a well-organized working force. Of the flft charter members wlfh which the. organization or-ganization begins Its existence as a regular reg-ular church, thirty-! wo have been received re-ceived by baptism since last April. The BIblo school has an average attendance of more than 100. and the Ladles' auxiliary, aux-iliary, with a membership of twenty, Is adding between $7 and S each week to the funds of the church. Monday evening, a recognition service was held at the church, at which the Rev. M. J. Slglcr of the Uaptlst church of Piiovo gave the charge to the church. The Rev. 13. F. Bronson, pastor of the Rio t'irande church, expressed the sentiment senti-ment of the church in welcoming the delegates. In addition to the Rev. Mr. Bronson, the following church officers have been elected to lead In carrying on the work for the first year; Manuel Porter. BIblo school superintendent; Miss Minnie M. Davis, clerk; W. M.
