Show MAIL FROM EAST IS STILL DELAYED Bocauso of the blockade on tho railroad rail-road lines east of Salt Lake, caused by the heavy snows in Colorado and Wyoming, Wyo-ming, all day yesterday parked without with-out eastern mail being received at tho local postoffico. As thero was no eastern east-ern mail received Friday, Postmaster Thomas saya that Monday will undoubtedly un-doubtedly bo ono of the busiest dayB in recent years. With tho holiday mail now coming in and with throo days' letters, parcols and papers congested con-gested thero being no delivery today he doubts whether tho department will bo able to handlo the rush on Monday. On tio Union Pacific the first train in yesterd.13' was No. 9. which reached hero at 12:15 p. m. This train should have beon in Salt Lako at 12:50 p. m. on Friday. Number 3 arrived here at 2:30 this morning, being sixtoon hours and thirty minutes Tjehind schodulc. Tho next train on this lino is expected to rench Salt Lake about noon today. Number 1 on tho Dcnvor & Koo Grande camo into Salt Lake at 12:55 yesterday afternoon, being thirty minutes min-utes behind time. On Friday .No. 5 was annulled, but yesterday it camo in at 11:25 p. m. Number 3 loft Denver at 9 p. m. Friday, but yesterday was annulled. No moro trains aro expected expect-ed on this lino from tho cast until this afternoon. OGDEN, Doc. 6. All westbound trains on tho Union Pncific with the exception of two, are stalled on Shor-man Shor-man Hill, Wyo.
