Shopmen in Stubbornly Fought Game at All Hallows.- In one. of the most Interesting amateur games of the season the Knights of Columbus Co-lumbus team defeated the Denver & Rio Grande shopmen yesterday at the All Hallows Hal-lows college diamond In a thlrtcen-ln-nlng game, the score being D to 4. Neither Neith-er team scored between the fifth and thirteenth Innings. In the first of the thirteenth the Knights got two runs. The Shopmen came back strong and had two men on bases with two out when J. Brennan of the Knights ended the struggle by making a sensational sensation-al catch of a hard line drive. The pitchers. Stephens for the Knights, and Ambrose for the Shopmen, pitched the full thirteen Innings and did excellent, work, Stephens allowing nine hits and Ambrose seven.
