Christian Endeavor Meefe. s PROVO. June 15. A number of prominent prom-inent Christian Endeavor workers met here yesterday and held an all-day session, ses-sion, in the Congregational church. Former For-mer Senator C. 15. Marks, president of the endeavor movement In this state, was present and spoke. G. L. MeFauU district freight and passenger agent for the Southern Pacific, .was also present and made a few remarks on ondeavor work the world over. Rev. L. S. Bowcrman of the First Baptist church of Salt Lake, was the principal speaker of the day. He spoke on "The Purpose of the Organization." Organiza-tion." Mrs. E. K. Brown and Mrs. I. IT. Masters furnished vocal selection. Others who were present were Rev. W. E, Patten Pat-ten of Payson, Rev. C. K. Davi3 of Springvillc, and Rov. Ira Thompson of the Baptist church of Provo.
