Show MOTORCYCLE SQUAD BUSY WITH VIOLATORS OF LAW The motorcycle squad of tho Salt Lake police force had a particularly busy dav yesterday. Several automobile and motorcycle mo-torcycle drivers were arrested, either for violating the speed or the lighting ordinance, ordi-nance, and a dozen of others 'whose speed was dangerously close to the limit wore warned to go "slower and to pay more careful attention to the ordinances. One or two were released on depositing $25 ball and the rest on their personal recognizance. Among tho motorists and motorcyclists arrested for violating the speed ordinance were C. R. Wilcox. John P. Home. A. Campbell, K. I.. Armstrong, J L. Reynolds. Rey-nolds. V. G. Gibson. L. E. Riter. A. M. Chrlstensen, Ernest Poulion. Henry Christensen und W. Black. Those charged with falllne to obey tho regulations of the lighting ordinance for automobiles and motorcycles are T. A. Knowlton, E. B. Heagren. John Smith. J. W. Rook-ledge Rook-ledge and A. T. Cutler. W. A. Shurtleff of Ogdcn was arrested for riding on a sidewalk. In police court yesterday he pleaded guilty and was fined 52 |
